The Role
The Client Value Partner (Public Sector) plays a critical role in Celonis’ growth strategy, focusing on high-impact public sector clients. As the Accountable Customer Success Lead, you will:
- Serve as the trusted advisor to strategic public sector customers, collaborating with C-level executives to define and execute long-term data-driven business transformation.
- Lead cross-functional Celonis teams to ensure value realization, adoption, and success across complex public sector implementations.
- Champion process optimization, innovation, and sustainable change to maximize business impact.
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, helping customers become Lighthouse Celonis organizations through expert guidance and scalable strategies.
The Work You’ll Do
Accountable Program Lead & Engagement Manager
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (including C-level executives) and align Celonis with their strategic objectives.
- Manage end-to-end engagements by leveraging resources from:
- Servicing teams
- Product & Engineering
- Value Engineering
- Mentor customers in center-of-excellence (CoE) formation to drive platform adoption.
- Lead team success by:
- Offering individual guidance to colleagues
- Providing actionable feedback to managers
- Fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
Driving Customer Value
- Oversee the full cycle of customer value realization from discovery to adoption.
- Influence executives through:
- Executive communications (evangelism)
- Deep product and industry expertise
- Strategic consultative problem-solving
- Define the Celonis program roadmap in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Resolve high-stakes escalations efficiently, driving recommendations and cross-team alignment.
- Ensure business alignment by internalizing the customer’s strategy and objectives, then mapping that to Celonis’ solution delivery.
- Achieve adoption targets by:
- Ensuring high-quality, on-time project execution
- Delivering client satisfaction
- Meeting adoption and usage metrics

Community Builder & Customer Advocacy
- Organize and lead customer advisory boards, addressing public sector-specific challenges and driving industry-led innovation.
- Advocate for the customer within Celonis, translating insights into:
- Product roadmaps
- Feature prioritization
- Champion Celonis’ presence at major industry events, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives as a recognized expert.
- Collaborate on domain-specific innovation projects, contributing to:
- Best practices playbooks
- Consulting resources
Qualifications You Need
- Minimum 10 years of experience in:
- Customer success (enterprise tools, SaaS implementations)
- Strategic consulting, preferably in the public sector
- Process reengineering or large-scale transformation programs
- Preference for candidates with experience in AI-based transformation implementations.
- Strong background in change management, including:
- Driving organizational adoption across global teams
- Influencing stakeholders through data-driven storytelling
- Managing strategic and tactical execution.
- Expertise in the public sector value chain (governments, agencies, utilities, etc.).
- Consultative leadership style: Ability to:
- Engage with C-level executives
- Lead persuasive high-level discussions
- Key skills & qualities:
- Exceptional stakeholder management, including influencing cross-organizational alignment.
- Expertise in project & program management, including multi-threaded shared-service & scaling industries.
- Demonstrated success in transitioning from tactical to strategic consulting.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and ownership-minded problem-solver.
- Resilience in ambiguous environments, ability to tightly optimise stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written & oral communication - including advocacy, public speaking, and executive decision-making.
