Project Manager / Building Surveyor

Client-side | Farringdon, London | Residential Portfolio | Circa £75,000 + Benefits

A rare opportunity has arisen to join a well-established international property company in a genuinely client-side role, managing a high-quality residential portfolio across London.

This position would suit a Building Surveyor or Project Manager looking to step away from consultancy and take ownership of projects from inception through to completion whilst working closely with asset management and senior stakeholders.

The Role Delivering refurbishment and improvement projects across a residential portfolio. Managing internal refurbishments, void works, common areas, and external repairs. Acting as Contract Administrator under JCT contracts. Tendering, appointing, and managing contractors and consultants. Undertaking defect diagnosis and providing technical advice. Supporting planned maintenance and capital expenditure programmes. Advising on Party Wall matters, Licences to Alter, Building Regulations, and statutory compliance. Assisting with technical due diligence on acquisitions and investment opportunities. Working closely with the asset management team to maximise value across the portfolio.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
