We're Hawkes Health — a family-run workplace health company with a busy clinic on South Tay Street, right in the heart of Dundee and easy to reach by bus or train. We keep people fit and at work for employers across the UK, from food manufacturers to renewable energy companies. And we're growing.
We're looking for a warm, professional administrator to be the face and voice of our Dundee clinic. You'll be the first person our clients meet and the first voice they hear — so this is a job for someone who genuinely likes people, keeps smiling on a busy day, and takes pride in making every caller and visitor feel looked after. Behind the friendly welcome, you'll be the organised one keeping the whole clinic running like clockwork.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What your week looks like
- Welcoming clients into the clinic and putting them at ease — some people are nervous about health checks, and you'll be the one who makes it easy
- Answering calls and emails promptly, warmly and professionally
- Booking, confirming and juggling appointments for our nurses and doctors
- Preparing clinic paperwork and sending out certificates and reports afterwards
- Keeping our records accurate, tidy and confidential
Healthcare experience? Brilliant — but not essential.
If you've worked in a GP practice, dental surgery, clinic or hospital admin team, you'll hit the ground running and we'd love to hear from you. But we're just as interested if you've been the front-of-house star in a hotel, a legal office, a school or a busy site office — because organisation, discretion, a friendly manner and confidence with Microsoft Office are what really make this job work. The occupational health side? We'll happily teach you that.
