We require a hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our friendly team of Clinic Coordinators in Ophthalmology

You will be responsible for booking patient appointments in an outpatient clinic setting and ensuring that all clinical activity is recorded accurately. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills will be required for this post, as you will be expected to communicate well with all levels of staff as well as patients and other service providers.

  • Assist with the effective management of patient pathways and clinic management by ensuring that all necessary outpatient appointments are arranged on time
  • Ensuring that all clinics are utilised to capacity
  • Diagnostic procedures and tests are processed as requested
  • Patients receive timely treatment, thus meeting Trust and national standards as required

Deal with enquiries on behalf of the Clinical Teams, either by telephone, personal contact or correspondence, within agreed limits, and take appropriate action.
