Role Description
The Clinic Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based at Selby & Taylor Opticians. The role involves greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring a welcoming, professional front-of-house experience. Day-to-day tasks include answering phones, responding to inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, and updating patient records accurately. The Clinic Receptionist will coordinate with clinical staff to maintain an efficient appointment flow, handle payments and receipts, and support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. The role also includes maintaining a tidy reception area, protecting patient confidentiality, and providing clear information about services, clinics, and eyewear options.
