Job Title: Clinical Administrator
Department: Operations Team
Location: Cambridge. Clinic based 5 days a week
Reports to: Admin Team Manager
Contract Type: 12-month fixed term contract
Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days
Salary: £28,000 pa

Job Purpose:

Additional Requirements
- Willing to undertake an Standard DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
- Occupational health clearance
- Flexibility to work occasional out of hours including weekends, travel both within and outside of the UK (all expenses will be covered), and assist with any ad-hoc duties that may be required for the Service needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring admin team inbox and responding to and signposting emails in a timely manner
- Answer incoming calls in a polite and professional manner and to take messages from patients and customers, providing information where necessary
- Greet patients and visitors - update appointment diary on DGL, issue paperwork and make them comfortable
- Receipt of deliveries into the Clinic and provide access for any service providers (ie Clinical waste collections)
- Booking of Private and NHS patients appointments and liaising with referring consultants with progress updates
- Weekly testing of Fire Alarm system
- Responsible for compiling the monthly stationery orders
- Maintain and tidy communal areas (waiting room, lobby, corridors, toilets)
- General office duties including photocopying, scanning, ensuring security of the Clinic
- Working efficiently alongside the admin team and attending regular administration and other Team meetings
