Cygnet Group are looking to hire an organised Clinical Administrator (Maternity Cover) to join our team at Cygent Heathers and Meadow Mews.

You’ll be working 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm, helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care.

You will be working at Cygnet Heathers and Meadow Mews.

  • Cygnet Heathers is a 20-bed service providing neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative rehabilitation for men with mental health difficulties and acquired brain injury.
  • Cygnet Meadow Mews is a 10-bed enhanced community residential service for men with neuropsychiatric or neurodegenerative conditions, who may have behaviours that challenge alongside additional social and complex needs.

As a Clinical Administrator, you will be providing administrative support to both Cygnet Heathers and Meadow Mews, including being responsible for Health Records and Requests for Access.

Your day-to-day…

  • Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support
  • Promote and ensure the good reputation of the Hospital. To act as a positive role model, maintaining and demonstrating a positive attitude towards Clients, their families, visitors and other staff
  • Ensure that effective communication and working relationship is maintained both within the hospital and between Funders and Commissioners, patients and relatives regarding admissions, meetings and any other queries.
  • Attend Patient review meetings and document minutes,
  • Ensure all medical records are maintained, stored and archived to a high standard
  • Ensure close working relationships are maintained with clinical commissioning groups
  • Responsible for entering data on E-Cencus
  • Take minutes of the meetings if required- arrange CPAs, discharge meetings and professionals meetings and minute
  • To complete administration tasks for the Responsible clinician
  • Management of patients finances within the hospital with the support of Head of Care
  • ECencus, Funding and billing forms for patients
  • Reception cover where required
  • Archiving of patient records
  • Responsible for completing discharge surveys patients

You are…

  • An administrator with experience in health care & knowledge of mental health
  • Flexible, organised, able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions
  • Calm under pressure & can work under your own initiative
  • A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail & excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows & the internet
