Band 4 Clinic Coordinator / Personal Assistant – Neurodevelopmental Skill Mix Team
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Band 4 Clinic Coordinator / Personal Assistant to join our Neurodevelopmental Skill Mix Team within the Community Paediatric Service.
This is a critical role providing comprehensive administrative and PA support to clinical lead and clinicians, ensuring effective coordination of clinics and patient pathways. Your role will play a vital part in supporting high-quality patient care through efficient service delivery and strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide PA/admin support to Clinical Lead & clinicians
- Coordinate and plan clinics by:
- Booking appointments and rooms
- Managing clinic rotas
- Manage referrals and patient pathways using electronic systems (e.g., SystmOne)
- Oversee clinical correspondence, including clinic letters and reports
- Act as the key point of contact for:
- Clinicians
- Patients
- External agencies
- Ensure smooth running of clinics & patient pathways, including monitoring waiting times
- Take meeting minutes and support service meetings
- Respond to patient queries, concerns and complaints professionally
- Assist with:
- Service improvement initiatives
- Administrative projects
- Supervise and support administrative staff
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication across teams
