As part of our mission to be recognised as the highest quality, most innovative mental health service in the UK, we are seeking a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of one day per week on-site at Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) headquarters in Gaydon (West Midlands).
Role Overview
We offer flexible hybrid contracts on either a part-time or full-time basis, ranging from:
- 2 days (15 hours/week)
- Up to 5 days (37.5 hours/week)
Flexibility exists regarding working hours within service parameters, with the requirement to attend weekly team meetings remotely on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Practice:
- Provide one-to-one psychological triage, assessment, and brief, goal-oriented therapy for adults seeking mental health support.
- Deliver sessions face-to-face and remotely, adapting treatments to varied clinical presentations and contextual factors.

Support & Development:
- Receive fortnightly individual clinical supervision.
- Attend weekly team meetings featuring in-house CPD sessions, training, peer supervision, self-care workshops, and business updates.

Specialist Opportunities:
- Develop workplace-focused psychological therapy expertise and train the trainers for mental health initiatives.
- Conduct specialist assessments (e.g., fitness for work, vulnerable role assessments, neurodiversity assessments, and cognitive assessments).
- Design and deliver mental health workshops for key clients.
- Work towards a personalised annual development plan aligned with your long-term career goals.
About Jaguar Land Rover’s Centre for Wellbeing (CfW)
JLR is implementing six UK-based ‘Centres for Wellbeing’ (CfW), integrating preventative and reactive support for employees under three pillars:
- MIND – Mental health support
- BODY – Physical health
- LIFE – Work-life balance
Objective: Reduce employee illness, injury, and absenteeism while restoring psychological and physical function following health challenges.
Psych Health has been chosen as the primary provider for the MIND Pillar across these Centres. This role offers the opportunity to:
- Provide high-quality mental health care for employees in need.
- Collaborate with professionals from the BODY and LIFE Pillars, shaping initiatives from the outset.

Requirements
- Qualification: PhD/Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with HCPC registration.
- Experience:
- Proven background in Primary Care or Occupational Health (preferred).
- Evidence-based psychological therapy delivery (TOPIC, CBT, IAPT, brief and solution-focused approaches) both in-person and remotely.
- Experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds (essential).
- Neurodiversity assessments experience (highly regarded).
- Commitment to personal development and service improvement.
- Training/workshop development experience (desired).
What We Offer
Salary: £53,000–£60,000 (pro-rata for hybrid hours), based on qualifications and experience.
