Clinical Deputy Manager – Hadley Lawns Care Home, Barnet

Salary: Up to £54,454 (dependent on experience) Type: Permanent (40 hours per week, full supernumerary role) Occasional On-call or weekend work may be required Welcome Bonus: £2,000

The Clinical Deputy Manager ensures expert nursing oversight and leadership to elevate resident wellbeing, all while fostering a trusted community.


Responsibilities

Clinical & Operational Leadership

  • Oversee and support all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home
  • Collaborate with the team to create/refresh individual care plans and maintain accurate, up-to-date medication records
  • Maintain efficient staffing levels via effective rota management to ensure 24/7 cover
  • Capitalise on clinical expertise to guide staff, emphasising independence, dignity and choice in resident care

Resident & Collaborative Engagement

  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
  • Champion a respectful, empowering culture – instil pride in the home and its community
  • Strengthen local partnerships to boost Hadley Lawns’ profile in Barnet and beyond

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
  • Active commitment to NMC Codes of Conduct and continuous professional development
  • A shared belief in the impact of quality nursing care on resident independence
  • Current knowledge of:
    • Tissue viability
    • Infection control principles
    • Care planning best practices

Salary Details

Your £2,000 starter bonus pays in the first available pay run, post four weeks' service, subject to tax/NI deductions.
