Clinical Deputy Manager

Working with the Home Manager and Quality Assurance team, the Deputy Manager (clinical) will be responsible for:
- Ensuring effective and safe clinical practice
- Monitoring standards via audits and observations
- Reviewing policies
- Implementing action plans
- Providing reports as required

What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading clinical and care standards aligned with Hamberley’s values
- Providing leadership, support, and supervision for clinical and care staff (under guidance of the Home Manager)
- Undertaking on-call duties as needed by the home and Home Manager
- Developing and delivering training modules and workshops on improving care delivery (within scope of practice and knowledge)
- Giving feedback to the Home Manager on staff improvement areas
- Supporting the Home Manager with:
- Assessments of potential residents
- Liaising with commissioners and stakeholders (clinically related aspects)
- Leading:
- Team and clinical review meetings
- Quality assurance and audit processes
- Investigating detailed complaints or concerns, responding appropriately
- Ensuring safe governance in clinical practice with the Home Manager and Quality Assurance team

Requirements
Eligible applicants will possess:
- A degree or equivalent qualifications leading to a Registered Nurse license
- Current valid NMC Pin registration
- Demonstrable post-registration experience in adults, care, or housing settings
- Experience as a Senior Nurse / Staff Nurse / Registered Nurse at a care home (highly desirable)
- Experience in people management
- A committed, organised approach
- Confident verbal and written communicator
- Passionate about empowering older people with dignity and respect
