Clinical Deputy Manager
Senior Staff Nurse (Bletchley House)

Responsibilities & Accountability

Clinical Supervision
- Provide clinical supervision to the Registered Nurse (RN) team to ensure they maintain the competencies needed to meet the needs of residents.
- Act as a Shift Team Leader, offering overall supervision and staff development for care team members.

Training & Role Modelling
- Contribute to the training of care and other staff by demonstrating high professional standards at all times.

Mandatory Training & Development
- Actively participate in personal and professional development opportunities, including mandatory training as required.

Quality & Compliance
- Ensure Gold Care standards and systems are effectively operated, leading to positive resident outcomes.
- Conduct monitoring, audits, and reviews, taking corrective action when necessary.

Leadership & Professionalism
- Maintain high professional standards and leadership, adhering to relevant professional memberships.
- Assist the Home Manager with:
- Formal supervision and appraisals (in line with company policy)
- Informal performance assessments to guarantee consistently high standards.

Policy Adherence & Compliance
- Implement and adhere to Gold Care’s policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements and codes of practice.

Staff Management & Recruitment
- Assist in effective recruitment, performance management, and staff deployment to deliver high-quality care outcomes.

Facilities & Maintenance Oversight
- Liaise with and oversee maintenance contractors and ensure the upkeep of property, plant, and equipment.
