Note: Salaries are potential base pay ranges (variables include location, certifications, experience).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to deliver optimal clinical care.
- Provide nutrition services and Medical Nutrition Therapy aligned with patient health needs.
- Assess residents’ nutritional status using validated screening tools.
- Complete timely nutrition assessments and Minimum Data Set (MDS) evaluations.
- Plan, develop, implement, and monitor nutrition care plans for residents.
- Offer nutrition recommendations for patients reliant on enteral nutrition support.
- Educate residents and families on nutrition best practices.
- Uphold current standards and evidence-based protocols.
- Prioritise patient-centred care and residents’ rights.
- Conduct monthly quality assurance and process improvement audits.

Qualifications
Licencing & Education
- Current Registered Dietitian license (Maryland).
- Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.

Experience
- At least 2 years as a Clinical Dietitian.
- Strong preference for skilled nursing facility experience.

- Expertise in the Nutrition Care Process (application of all stages).
- Competent in compassionate care (empathetic, open-minded).
- Exceptional time management and organisation skills.
- Collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making expertise.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
- Leadership experience in team-based environments.
