We’re excited to offer a rare opportunity for a Director of Practice and Clinical Services to join Rosehill Vets. This is an ideal role for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to combine hands-on clinical work with the chance to shape and lead a well-established practice.
You’ll spend around 75% of your time in practice, enjoying a balanced mix of consultations and surgery, while also playing a key role in mentoring colleagues, supporting case discussions and helping develop less experienced vets and new graduates.

You’ll be joining a friendly and experienced team of vets, RVNs and a dedicated client care team, all based in a welcoming, refurbished practice.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As Director of Practice & Clinical Services, you will provide senior clinical leadership across a large practice, hospital or group of services, setting and delivering the clinical vision in line with inspiring vet care’s strategy, standards and values.

You’ll oversee clinical governance, quality improvement and performance across services, working closely with senior operational leaders to drive excellent patient outcomes, sustainable service delivery and a strong clinical culture. This role combines strategic leadership with accountability for clinical standards, people development and continuous improvement.
Working Pattern
Full-time role working four days per week 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 9:00am–2:00pm No out-of-hours responsibilities No on-call commitment Out-of-hours provided by a nearby IVC hospital Part-time applications of 30+ hours per week welcomed
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
You are a senior veterinary leader with a strong track record of clinical excellence and strategic leadership. You’ll bring:
A Veterinary degree with RCVS registration and significant senior clinical experience Proven leadership experience within a complex veterinary or healthcare setting Strong expertise in clinical governance, quality improvement and regulatory compliance The ability to set and deliver a clinical vision while leading and developing high-performing teams Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
