About ZAVA
We believe healthcare should be accessible, dependable, and affordable for everyone. Now part of Hims & Hers Health, Inc., one of the fastest-growing digital health companies in the world, we’re entering an exciting new chapter as we expand our reach and accelerate our impact.
Our team of Doctors, Engineers, Patient Care Advisors, Pharmacists, Marketers, Product Managers, UX Designers, Commercial, and Operations Specialists work together to build digital healthcare that truly fits around our patients’ lives.
The pandemic changed how people access care, and we’ve led the way by providing over 14 million consultations across the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Ireland. More patients than ever turn to us for help with weight loss and other conditions that can be safely treated online. We’re evolving our service to make care even more personal, supportive, and effective.
We’re doing more than providing healthcare. We’re empowering people to take control of their health, and with the support of Hims & Hers, we’re scaling our vision to become a global leader in digital healthcare.
About The Role
We're looking for experienced, GMC-registered GP’s to join our growing Clinical Team.
This role primarily focuses on supporting patients accessing weight management treatment, including assessing suitability for GLP-1 medications, reviewing ongoing treatment and prescribing safely in line with national guidance and ZAVA's clinical protocols.
Alongside weight management, you'll also provide care across a range of other conditions that can be safely managed online through our asynchronous platform.
This is an opportunity to practise medicine differently. Rather than conducting scheduled telephone or video consultations, you'll review structured online consultations, communicate with patients through secure messaging and make autonomous, evidence-based clinical decisions. Synchronous consultations are only required where clinically appropriate.
Beyond patient care, you'll work collaboratively with colleagues across Clinical, Product, Engineering, Operations, Patient Care and Commercial teams to improve clinical pathways, develop new services and enhance the patient experience.
Key Accountabilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
- Review and assess asynchronous patient consultations, primarily relating to weight management, alongside other digital healthcare services.
- Assess patient suitability for GLP-1 therapies and other treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and prescribing protocols.
- Request additional clinical information where required to support safe prescribing decisions.
- Prescribe medication safely and appropriately in line with GMC guidance, UK legislation and ZAVA clinical protocols.
- Monitor ongoing treatment through follow-up consultations and support patients throughout their treatment journey.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
