About the Role:
The Clinical Education Clinical Development Nurse/Midwife plays a key role in ensuring services meet National Health and Quality Standards and in driving staff development to support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care. Drawing on advanced clinical and educational expertise, you will support the development of effective continuing education approaches and champion the acquisition of evidence-based, lifelong learning skills across the clinical workforce. You will also actively foster cross-functional relationships to enhance inter-professional education opportunities at North Canberra Hospital, while maintaining a strong focus on nursing education.

A merit pool may be created from this recruitment process and remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill both permanent and temporary positions across CHS.
This is a temporary position available for a period of 5 months with the possibility of extension up to less than 12 months and/or permanency.
