NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC)

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CLINICAL FELLOW IN DERMATOLOGY

This is a fixed term 10 session post initially based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH), but may have additional commitments across other hospital sites. The post is for 12 months from 5/8/2026 to 4/8/2027.

This post is intended for candidates who have obtained their MRCP. Dermatology experience is essential and consideration may be given to support a portfolio pathway. Prospective candidates are reminded that this is a Service level post and not a Deanery-approved post. The successful candidate would have access to a wide range of educational opportunities through the subspecialty interests of Consultants within the Dermatology Directorate. Current subspecialty interest clinics include the following:

  • Cutaneous surgery (including Mohs surgery)
  • Skin cancer
  • Post-transplant Dermatology
  • Urticaria
  • Photodermatology
  • Contact dermatitis
  • Bullous disorders
  • Severe psoriasis
  • Severe eczema
  • Teaching
  • Genodermatoses
  • Paediatric dermatology
  • Connective tissue disorders
  • Lymphoma
  • Hair disorders
