King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre (AHSC), is one of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching hospitals with a turnover of nearly £1 billion, 1.5 million patient contacts a year, and more than 12,600 staff based across 5 main sites in South East London and Kent.
The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services across its different sites, and specialist services from King’s College Hospital (KCH) site in Camberwell and the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site in Bromley, Orpington Hospital, and some services at Beckenham Beacon and Queen Mary’s Sidcup.
The Trust is recognised internationally for its work in liver disease and transplantation, neurosciences, cardiac, haemato-oncology, fetal medicine, stroke, major trauma, and Emergency Department.

Applications are invited for doctors with suitable experience to work as full-time Pre Transplant BMT Clinical Fellow in King’s College Hospital Foundation Trust’s Bone Marrow Transplantation programme. We are looking to appoint two positions within the medical coordination team. Clinical fellows who are successful in obtaining a position will be given full educational opportunities and the chance to rotate through other posts in transplantation and cellular therapy.
Future research opportunities will be encouraged depending on the aspirations of the successful candidates.

Nationally, the transplant team at King’s provides one of the largest services for adult stem cell transplantation. This includes both autologous and allogeneic transplantation for a range of haematological malignancies with a specialist interest in myeloid disorders and bone marrow failure syndromes. In addition to the Clinical BMT programme, we provide donor evaluation and collection services for Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust as one of their Collection Facilities.
