Job Opportunity with Neonatal Team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with the Neonatal team on the middle grade medical rota.

Start Date and Duration

We are looking for the successful candidate to start in September 2026. Later start dates would also be considered. This is a 9-month fixed term job with possible extension to 12 months.

Location and Accessibility

The hospital is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, with easy access to the countryside and to coastal areas. There is an excellent rail and road network to other major cities.

Trust Development and Service Transformation

UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.

If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
