The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Clinical Fellow in IVF and Reproductive Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team.
This role is ideal for doctors with experience in fertility, reproductive medicine, or obstetrics and gynaecology, seeking to develop their career within a recognised fertility organisation.
You will:
- Work closely with consultants, embryologists, nurses, and operational teams
- Gain hands-on experience across all aspects of fertility care
- Play a key role in patient support, procedure execution, and quality improvement

Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Management: Support patients in consultations, pre-treatment assessments, and ongoing care
- Diagnostic Procedures: Perform transvaginal ultrasounds
- Fertility Procedures: Undertake egg collections and embryo transfers (aligned with your competency and training level)
- Collaborative Care: Work with consultants, embryologists, nurses, and operational teams to ensure exceptional patient experience
- On-Call Rotation: Assist with weekend, bank holiday, and on-call duties
- Clinical Governance: Participate in audits, quality improvements, and policy compliance with HFEA regulations
- Research & Teaching: Engage in research projects, educational initiatives, and service development
- Patient Engagement: Support educational events and understandings
Requirements
To apply, you must have: ✅ A recognised medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) ✅ Full GMC registration and a current licence to practise in the UK ✅ Completion of Foundation Training (FY1 and FY2) or equivalent ✅ Experience in reproductive medicine, IVF, or obstetrics/gynaecology ✅ Competency in transvaginal ultrasound (or motivation to develop this skill) ✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
