Job Description
About the Role
This post is best suited to a trainee wishing to gain specialist surgical experience in stone surgery & Lithotripsy.
The post holder will participate in a 1:14 on call rota and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of ward patients.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the service activities in the department.
Clinical Experience

Research
- ½ day dedicated research session is provided for all fellows.
- There are several ongoing research projects and fellows are expected to participate in these projects.
- Fellows are expected to successfully publish and undertake at least one audit project during their training.
Teaching
- The Bristol Urological Institute has an active teaching programme.
- Fellows and Registrars are expected to actively participate in this activity.
- The post holder will be available to undertake teaching sessions for medical students and junior doctors as required.
- In certain circumstances, you may be required to cover a colleague’s clinical duties in order that they may deliver teaching sessions.
