Clinical Innovation Lead – AWS UK Public Sector Healthcare Team

Our team in the UK Public Sector Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Innovation Lead to actively shape and secure multi-year strategic opportunities across the NHS and broader UK health ecosystem. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of clinical domain expertise and cloud technology leadership—acting as a trusted advisor to senior clinical and digital leaders (CIOs, CMIOs, CCIOs) to uncover AWS solutions that deliver measurable patient outcomes.

The Opportunity

This is a role for individuals who excel when:

  • Creating multi-year strategic pursuits from early discovery through to commercial close
  • Bridging the gap between clinical needs and cloud solutions (e.g. AI-enabled pathways, genomics, population health)
  • Building long-term relationships while maintaining commercial rigor
  • Operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments—shaping opportunities before they exist

The ideal candidate belongs at the forefront of healthcare transformation—responsible for turning innovative AWS propositions into scaled national and regional deployments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pipeline Ownership & Strategic Bidding

  • Identify, shape, and progress complex 12–18+ month pursuits across:
    • NHS national bodies
    • Integrated Care Systems (ICS)
    • Specialist providers
  • Convert pipeline into high-conviction revenue opportunities

2. Senior Clinical & Digital Relationships

  • Secure trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CMIOs, CCIOs, and transformation leads
  • Position AWS as the strategic cloud innovation partner for clinical innovation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
