We are growing. We currently have four clinics in West Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Knaresborough and Beverley, and hold a range of exciting public and private contracts which support our continued development. As our services evolve, our focus is increasingly on delivering holistic, needs-led support that extends far beyond diagnosis, helping children, young people and families access meaningful interventions and ongoing therapeutic care.
About the role
We are seeking a Clinical Lead (Clinical Psychologist) to lead the continued development and expansion of our assessment, therapy and post-diagnostic support services across our Knaresborough and Beverley clinics.
This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and their families. The role will focus on clinical leadership, therapeutic support pathways, post-diagnostic interventions and service development, ensuring that families receive high-quality support following identification of need.
You will provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team, help shape innovative and responsive services, and work closely with senior leaders to develop and expand our offer. While a strong understanding of neurodevelopmental assessment pathways is important, the primary focus of the role is on translating clinical understanding into meaningful support, intervention and positive outcomes.

Main responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
· Provide clinical leadership and oversight across our neurodevelopmental assessment services, post-diagnostic support and therapy services. · Offer consultation and guidance to multidisciplinary colleagues working with neurodivergent children, young people and families. · Lead regular clinical discussions, formulation meetings and case reviews. · Support a culture of reflective practice, professional development and continuous learning.

Service Development & Quality Improvement
· Support the ongoing development diversification and expansion of Mantle Psychology's services. · Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, clinical pathways and family experience. · Work alongside the leadership team to shape future services and respond to emerging needs. · Monitor service quality and outcomes, ensuring high standards of care and clinical governance. · Contribute to policy development, clinical protocols and service innovation.
Post-Diagnostic Support & Therapeutic Services
· Develop and oversee high-quality post-diagnostic support pathways for children, young people and families. · Deliver specialist therapeutic interventions, consultations and psychoeducation where appropriate. · Ensure families receive practical recommendations, support and signposting following diagnosis or identification of neurodevelopmental needs. · Contribute to the development of group programmes, workshops and family support initiatives. · Promote strengths-based, neuro-affirming and person-centred approaches throughout service delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Build positive relationships with families, schools and external professionals. · Liaise with commissioners, referrers and partner organisations as required. · Provide clinical updates, advice and recommendations to relevant stakeholders. · Act as an advocate for high-quality neurodevelopmental support services.
About You
We are looking for a compassionate, forward-thinking clinician who is passionate about supporting children, young people and families beyond the point of diagnosis.

Qualifications & Experience
· HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist. · Specialist knowledge and experience of neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism and ADHD. · Experience of working therapeutically with neurodivergent children, young people and families. · Experience providing consultation, formulation and clinical leadership within multidisciplinary settings. · Knowledge of neurodevelopmental diagnostic pathways and post-diagnostic support models. · Experience developing or improving clinical services is desirable. · Experience in delivering psychoeducation, therapeutic interventions and family support. · Understanding of neuro-affirming care and strengths-based approaches to practice.

Key Details
Location: Knaresborough with travel required to Beverley 1x per week and other clinics as required.
Start Date: September 2026
Annual Leave: 28 days plus bank holidays (pro rata)
An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required for this role.

Pay: £61,065.00-£70,380.00 per year
