Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN) £50,000

Brackley, West Northamptonshire

Meridian Business Support is delighted to be recruiting for a Clinical Lead Nurse on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded care provider in Brackley.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking care environment. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in leading clinical practice, supporting nursing and care teams, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding person-centred care.

If you are passionate about clinical excellence, developing others, and making a genuine difference to residents' lives, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As Clinical Lead, you will support the Home Manager in maintaining the highest standards of clinical care, governance, and compliance throughout the home.

You will provide leadership and guidance to the nursing and care teams, ensuring residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You will also play a key role in driving quality improvements, supporting regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive culture within the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the nursing team to deliver exceptional standards of clinical care.
  • Promote best practice and ensure care delivery remains compliant with all regulatory and company requirements.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to nurses and care staff.
  • Support the Home Manager in maintaining strong clinical governance and quality assurance processes.
  • Conduct audits and monitor clinical performance, implementing improvements where required.
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support safeguarding processes and ensure concerns are managed appropriately and effectively.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to staff development through coaching, supervision, and ongoing training.
  • Act as a role model for professionalism, clinical excellence, and person-centred care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
