Clinical Lead Nurse – Registered Mental Health Nurse Role
Join our dedicated team at Gregory House, a division of Elysium Healthcare, as a Clinical Lead Nurse and be part of delivering exceptional mental healthcare in a supportive, innovative, and growth-focused environment.
About the Role
Are you an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse seeking an organisation where kindness and teamwork are core values? Where you can develop, grow, and be fully invested in achieving your career goals?
At Gregory House, we’re looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse to help transform mental health pathways, ensuring positive transitions for service users—supporting independence and choice while achieving the highest standards of care.
You’ll work collaboratively with service users, carers, leadership, and external partners to shape, refine, and implement secure yet flexible pathways that reflect real-life care needs. Your influence will span clinical strategy, standards-setting, and governance, fostering innovation in environments where high-level support meets najminal restrictive policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical strategy development: Collaborate on a long-term vision to emphasise timely transition to community services and reduce unnecessary secure care placements.
- Innovate and co-create: Develop pathways that centre around the life stories of service users, families, and carers, incorporating individualised pathways and freedom of choice.
- Strategic impact: Influence and co-produce strategies that address systemic challenges, improving efficiency while maintaining clinical excellence.
- System design and oversight: Help establish, implement, and monitor efficient financial and clinical frameworks within the service.
- Nursing standards and practice: Champion evidence-based best practices and contribute to driving improvements in nursing standards and outcomes.
- Clinical governance support: Provide nursing perspective around safeguarding and ethical practices, ensuring policies align with professional standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
