Location: Leeds, UK (HALEX LEGAL SERVICES™ OFFICE)
An engaging full-time position has emerged for a seasoned Claimant Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Claim Handler to support our thriving Legal 500-recognised team in Leeds. The role involves managing a varied workload—spanning differing claim types, complexity, and value—presenting an exceptional long-term career opportunity within a dynamic and socially-respectable legal ambiance.

We seek a self-driven, motivated solicitor with a proven track record in claim handling—the perfect fit for a long-term career within a proactive, well-established team. While the role is primarily office-based, successful candidates may transition to a hybrid working arrangement post-induction. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, given the necessity for constant collaboration with clients and professional peers.

Key Responsibilities
- Actively manage and progress clinical negligence and personal injury claims across all tracks—multi-track included—from inception through trial.
- Uphold target-based billing performance by maintaining consistent accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise junior staff, ensuring optimal delegation to paralegals while assisting senior colleagues in handling high-value, complex matters.
- Engage actively in business development and marketing endeavours, particularly focusing on Leeds and York client acquisition.
- Provide consultative legal advisory support to injured clients, ensuring transparency and high standards of professionalism.
Core Requirements
✅ Qualification and Experience:
- A qualified Solicitor (1–10 years’ post-qualification experience, PQE) with specialised clinical negligence and personal injury practice at all court tracks.
- Demonstrated success in increasing measurable revenue through targeted billing and case handling efficiencies.

✅ Caseload Management:
- Experience of self-managing a mixed claim portfolio, ensuring seamless progress from pre-claim to trial.
- Minimal supervision is necessary for effective case progression.
✅ Instructional Leadership:
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff, equipping paralegals with necessary workload delegation.
- Occasional input on high-stakes, multi-dimensional claims requiring senior-level expertise.
