Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Partner – National – Up to £120,000
A leading national Legal 500 law firm with a strong reputation in clinical negligence is looking to appoint a Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Partner to join its growing team. This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious senior solicitor to take a leading role within a highly regarded national healthcare practice handling complex, high-value clinical negligence matters.
The Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Partner will join a collaborative and specialist team advising NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, healthcare providers and public sector organisations on a broad range of complex healthcare litigation matters. This role offers genuine strategic influence, client responsibility and long-term progression within a forward-thinking national practice.
The Role:
- Managing complex and high-value litigated and pre-litigated clinical negligence claims
- Advising NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts and healthcare sector clients on sensitive healthcare matters
- Leading investigations, liability assessments and litigation strategy
- Working closely with counsel, experts, clients and key stakeholders
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the healthcare team
- Leading and contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives
- Supporting operational strategy, financial performance and team growth

The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE in healthcare or clinical negligence litigation
- Strong defendant clinical negligence experience, ideally with NHS Resolution work
- Excellent technical ability and strong knowledge of CPR and litigation procedure
- Proven experience managing complex, high-value healthcare litigation matters
- Strong leadership, mentoring and supervisory capabilities
- Commercially aware with experience in business development and client management
- Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills
- Ambitious and driven, with a genuine interest in developing a long-term career
