Clinical Nurse Manager - Falcon Ward
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our dedicated team on Falcon Ward, a 17-bed Medium Secure Male Admissions Ward within West London NHS Trust.
About Falcon Ward
Falcon Ward provides specialist assessment, treatment, and care for men experiencing mental disorder who require treatment within a secure setting. The ward primarily supports service users during the admission and assessment phase of their recovery journey, providing a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that promotes engagement, recovery, and positive outcomes.
Role Overview
As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide strong clinical and operational leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and person-centred care. You will support and develop staff, promote continuous improvement, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for service users.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence service development and make a meaningful difference within a specialist forensic service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain communication with various individuals and groups of patients, carers, and staff on complex potentially stressful topics in a range of situations.
- Develop knowledge and practice on the ward and across the service.
- Promote best practice in health, safety, and security.
- Develop and improve services.
- Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity.
- Ensure the ongoing assessment of people’s care needs on the ward.
- Ensure that the planning, delivery, and evaluation of care programmes address the complex and changing needs of all patients.
- Develop and sustain partnership working with individuals, groups, communities, and agencies.
- Lead the ward team in the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices.
- Allocate, coordinate, monitor, and assess the work of the team and individuals.
- Adhere to NMC Code of Professional Conduct guidelines and requirements, promoting the highest standards of conduct and maintaining knowledge of current issues and changes in professional practice.
- Plan, obtain, and deploy physical and/or financial resources.
