Position: Clinical Nurse Manager / Deputy Manager Care home: Coronation Court Location: Cannock, WS11 1BT Contract type: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri) Salary: £54,945 per annum
About the Role
Join Exemplar Health Care as a Clinical Nurse Manager at Coronation Court, a forward-thinking care home provider offering support, development, and rewarding career growth.
Working closely with the Home Manager, you’ll lead a team of nursing and care colleagues to ensure:
- Effective and efficient home operations
- High standards of care aligned with clinical best practice
- Continuity of high-quality support for adults with complex needs (brain injuries, dementia, mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities, physical disabilities)
The role involves:
- Care and staff leadership: Guiding teams to meet nursing and safeguarding requirements, ensuring care plans and assessments are up-to-date and evidence-based.
- Clinical governance and compliance: Overseeing adherence to CQC regulatory standards, clinical governance frameworks, and risk management protocols.
- Team supervision: Supporting nurses to deliver outstanding care through mentorship and professional growth.
- Quality improvement: Driving incremental changes to enhance the care experience.

Responsibilities
Key daily duties include:
- Leading teams to meet medical, physical, emotional, and safeguarding needs;
- Setting high standards in clinical care delivery;
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, CQC guidelines, and internal policies;
- Supervising documentation, ensuring accurate and timely completion of care plans and risk assessments;
- Driving continuous improvement through proactive clinical oversight.
The role offers diverse challenges, though each day will vary and require adaptability.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Valid NMC registration, including a first-level nursing qualification;
- Minimum three years’ post-registration nursing experience, plus prior managerial experience (or studies leading to a management role).

- Experience at a Clinical Nurse Manager or Deputy Manager level;
- Strong expertise in nursing best practice (e.g., dementia care, complex care, disability services);
- Proactive digital and analytical skills;
