Your Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality clinical and educational support to patients with urology and continence needs. This role plays a vital part in supporting NHS colleagues, improving patient outcomes, and strengthening clinical services across the region.

We are seeking Registered Nurses with experience in continence and/or urology care, whether gained within acute, community, specialist, or primary care settings. We also welcome applications from candidates with a paediatric nursing background, as this is an area we are looking to develop and expand within our team.

  • Department: Homecare Woundcare, Ostomy & Continence
  • Location: Field based covering the North East
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Contract: Permanent

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out comprehensive continence assessments and provide tailored clinical support
  • Receive and manage referrals from NHS colleagues across urology and continence services
  • Deliver education, training, and advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals
  • Act as a clinical resource for NHS teams, providing additional capacity and expertise
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Actively identify and support appropriate business development opportunities on behalf of the company

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Working knowledge and experience within continence and/or urology care
  • Confident working autonomously with strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly with patients and colleagues
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own workload
  • Full UK driving licence
