Clinical Nurse Specialist in Parkinson’s & Headache Care – London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate nurse dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals living with Parkinson’s and Headache disorders.

You will bring significant post-registration experience, alongside deep knowledge of Parkinson’s disease and headache disorders, coupled with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude and a commitment to driving excellence in clinical practice.

Working within a multi-disciplinary environment, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Innovate and lead in your field
  • Act as a role model for high standards of patient care
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate across professional boundaries

You’ll serve as the clinical bridge between all levels of care, ensuring cohesive support for patients from diagnosis through to treatment and ongoing management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver holistic care and professional network liaison between all areas of Parkinson’s and headache services
  • Provide high-quality specialist education and contribute to local clinical networks
  • Champion patient-centred excellence, promoting best practice in diagnosis and ongoing treatment
  • Offer training and mentorship, helping to build capacity and shape the future of care

Who We’re Looking For

✔ A qualified nurse with substantial post-registration experience ✔ Specialist knowledge of Parkinson’s and headache disorders, with a willingness to upskill and lead change ✔ Strong clinical reasoning skills, able to assess, diagnose and respond to complex patient needs ✔ Dedication to patient education, clinical teams, and evidence-based practice ✔ Ability to thrive in a sympathetic yet fast-paced hospital environment

While dressed experience is preferred, we welcome applications from those eager to develop their specialism in this area.
