A team driven by NHS Forth Valley’s Values, we are seeking to recruit three Clinical Nurse Specialists (Band 6) on a fixed term basis. About the Role
These posts are a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and specialist CAMHS crisis service and help to make a meaningful impact on outcomes for children and young people in crisis. The team provides urgent, crisis, and intensive mental health support to children and young people (aged 0–18) presenting with acute mental health difficulties. The team also offer a range of highly specialist interventions, which often includes multi-agency work with our partners.
The post-holders will help to deliver responsive, high-quality care across a range of settings including clinics, family homes, schools, and inpatient environments. They will also work within established clinical governance frameworks and adhere to professional standards set by regulatory bodies and NHS guidelines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
