Job Title: Clinical Nursing Manager
Location: Woodward Veterinary Practice, Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days. No OOH work, Saturdays are on a rota basis with time off in Lieu after working a Saturday. Shift times are from 7.30am start to a latest finish of 8pm
Salary: From £35,000 per annum
About The Role
We're looking for a Clinical Nursing Manager to join our team at Woodward Veterinary practice and would love to hear from you.
We are recruiting for an RVN with 5 years post-qualification experience with leadership experience. We seek an excellent communicator that is highly organized and is comfortable working with autonomy in our busy practice.
The clinical nursing manager role is key to the business ability to provide a high level of clinical standards ensuring that patients are managed as effectively as possible from a nursing perspective to support further growth of the practice.
Working enthusiastically with the leadership team, you will demonstrate an excellent work protocol in all nursing duties while taking overall responsibility for a specific area of the practice.

The clinical nursing manager would organize and oversee patient flow on a day-to-day basis to ensure the most effective and efficient approach to the workload. Identifying and improving the efficiency of the patient pathway from admission through to discharge while ensuring that practice policies and group policies are adhered to support the provision of outstanding patient and client care.
We have a team of 15 Nurses with the help of three Lead Nurses who you will work closely with.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Nurse Rotas and Nurse Holiday bookings
- Nurse team meetings
- Attending PBR with PM & Lead vet
- Taking responsibility along with the PM and Lead vet for Practice Standards for the whole practice
- Nursing team PDR's
