Role Overview
Are you a passionate and experienced pharmacist ready to make a real difference in a unique and rewarding environment? Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT), rated Outstanding by the CQC, is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8A) to lead and deliver advanced medicines management services at HMP Morton Hall, Swinderby STHF, and HMP North Sea Camp.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will:
- Lead and evaluate comprehensive medicines management services.
- Provide expert clinical pharmacy input across primary care, substance misuse, and mental health.
- Ensure compliance with medicines legislation and governance.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and contribute to service development across the East Midlands prison cluster.

What We’re Looking For
- GPhC-registered pharmacist with a strong background in clinical pharmacy.
- Experience in secure environments or mental health settings is desirable.
- A collaborative, innovative leader who thrives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
