Clinical Pharmacist – Mental Health Services (Fixed Term: 12 Months – Band 7)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacist with exceptional communication skills to deliver high-quality Mental Health clinical pharmacy services.
We are seeking candidates with a passion for optimal patient care and the ability to demonstrate the 6Cs of care:

This role offers a chance to develop clinical, operational, and managerial skills while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Ideal candidates will:
- Be proactive and self-driven
- Show a keen interest in mental health
- Have the ability to work effectively within a team
- Preferably (but not essentially) hold prior mental health experience
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) pharmacy team, the successful applicant will:
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of specialist mental health clinical pharmacy services
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure pharmaceutical care needs of patients are addressed
- Maintain medicines management standards across all services in the trust
- Provide education on safe and effective medication use to:
- Medical and nursing staff
- Patients
- Carers
- Offer professional support and supervision to pre-registration and student pharmacists

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 2 years post-registration experience
- Completed or be completing clinical pharmacy post-graduate study
- Demonstrated well-developed clinical pharmacy skills for Band 7 level
- Fit the fixed term duration (12 months) commitment
