Clinical Pharmacist

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust – Bristol

Role Overview Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join their team in Bristol, delivering patient-centred care within secure environments, including prisons.

This clinically-focused role involves:

  • Supporting structured clinical pharmacy services
  • Collaborating with pharmacy technicians, general practitioners, other healthcare professionals, and prisoners on medication and healthcare queries
  • Ensuring safe prescribing and access to appropriate medication
  • Developing and improving services for offenders

Essential Criteria

  • A qualification at Master’s Level in Pharmacy (MPharm or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and experience of pharmacological treatment in primary care
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience working as a pharmacist (including clinical, public health, or technical experience)

Desirable Criteria

  • Clinical experience within secure settings, prisons, or forensic mental health
  • Interest in HIV and hepatitis, including experience in either field

Grade: Band 6 or 7 – £35,606 to £40,489 per annum (or Band 8b – £46,826 if eligible).
