This is how we aim to prevent, stop, and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

In Roche’s Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development (pRED) organisation, we develop transformative medicines for patients to tackle some of the world’s biggest unmet healthcare needs. Our mission as pRED is to transform science into medicines, fostering a culture of curiosity, responsibility, and humility. We empower and inspire our talented teams to drive life-changing innovation at speed.

Our Pharmaceutical Sciences (PS) organisation bridges science and innovation to enable the discovery and development of safe, effective therapeutics at optimal doses for relevant populations. We achieve this by integrating three key pillars—Translational Safety, Translational Pharmacology, and Biomarkers—to drive asset development from target assessment to on-market support. Our goal: improve predictive accuracy, optimise dosing strategies, and accelerate the discovery of tomorrow’s safe and effective medicines.

Within the Clinical Pharmacology Section in the Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology Department, this role operates globally, embedded in cross-functional project teams and supports multiple focus disease areas, including CVRM, Immunology, Neuroscience, Oncology, and Ophthalmology.

The Opportunity

As the Quantitative and Clinical Pharmacology Lead, you will drive the scientific advancement of clinical drug programs by leading cross-functional projects and leveraging Model-Informed Drug Development (MIDD) to optimise trial designs, dose selections, and development decisions—across small/molecules, large/molecules, and novel platforms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
