An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Physiologist to become an integral part of the team working in the Neurophysiology Directorate at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
You may be a newly qualified physiologist seeking the opportunity to further develop and expand your knowledge in a busy unit, with the opportunity to work with both adults and paediatrics. You may have been qualified for some time and wish to expand your skills and gain exposure in more specialist testing in this large teaching trust.
You will be a dynamic individual willing to further develop your skills within our dedicated and caring team.
You will be joining a dedicated team of Clinical Physiologists who perform a wide range of routine and specialist Neurophysiological investigations across the MFT campus.
This is a fixed term 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.
You will provide routine and non-routine (dependant on experience) clinical Neurophysiology services to patients across all MFT departments. This will include all aspects of EEG recording on patients of all ages, including neonates. You will be expected to Independently perform routine EEG's, sleep studies, ambulatory video EEG and Evoked Potentials providing a written comprehensive factual in line with departmental protocols.

You will be required as part of a rota, to provide neurophysiological services at any of the MFT Neurophysiology sites, including North Manchester and Wythenshawe.
A monthly EEG service is undertaken on site at Nobles Hospital on the Isle of Man and you will be part of the rota of staff covering this service.
