Clinical Physiologist Band 7 (Clinical Neurophysiology)
About the Role
We are seeking a Band 7 Clinical Physiologist to join a motivated and passionate team within Clinical Neurophysiology. This role offers significant opportunities for continuous professional and personal development.
Department Overview
The department performs a comprehensive range of routine and advanced clinical neurophysiological tests, handling over 10,000 procedures annually. Primary services include:

EEGs:
- Inpatient and outpatient departments
- Portable recordings on wards, ITUs, and during specialist procedures
- Ambulatory EEG and satellite services

Evoked Potentials:
- Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP) & Pattern Electroretinograms (PERGs)
- Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP)
- Somatosensory & Dermatomal Evoked Potentials
- Contact Heat Evoked Potentials (CHEPs)
- Single or paired pulse Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM):
- Multi-modal neurophysiological monitoring for complex neurosurgical procedures

Other Services:
- Nerve conduction studies & nerve excitability profiling
- Qualitative & quantitative Electromyography (EMG), including Single Fibre EMG
- Small fibre studies
- Movement disorder analysis
- EMG-guided Botulinum Toxin therapy
