Roicare Clinical Psychologist Opportunity

Roicare, a leading provider of residential care for children with autism, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our compassionate team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of the children in our care, utilizing your expertise to provide assessments, interventions, and therapeutic services.

Our facility provides specialized residential care for children with autism, learning and physical disabilities, brain injuries, and complex needs.

About the Role

This is a new home which will be opening soon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to work within a challenging yet exciting fast-paced position delivering the highest standard of professionalism for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs of the children.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of each child.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support the children in managing their emotions, improving their self-esteem, and developing coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create holistic care plans and ensure coordinated support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of the children, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to caregivers and staff members on psychological matters.
