Clinical Psychologist Development Post

Clinical Psychologist – Intensive Support and Specialist Learning Disability Team

Band 7/8a Development Post – Full-Time

About the Post

We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist, either newly qualified or with post-qualification experience, to join our Intensive Support Team and North Specialist Learning Disability Team on a full-time basis.

As the post holder, you will:

  • Provide a psychological service to individuals in the community living with a learning disability, as well as those experiencing challenging behaviour or autism spectrum conditions.
  • Work closely with senior clinical psychologists under professional supervision.
  • Contribute to an innovative, integrated and collaborative team of psychologists across four counties—Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, and Norfolk.

  • This is a developmental post (Band 7/8a), with progression to Band 8a upon demonstrating competencies.
  • Opportunities to engage with the University of Hertfordshire’s clinical psychology doctoral training program.

  • The role will offer exposure to diverse community and inpatient settings.
