Senior Practitioner Psychologist – Neurodevelopmental Assessments

About Evolve Psychology

At Evolve Psychology, we do things differently. Founded in 2014 by Dr Laura Powling, we began with the aim to redefine clinical psychology in practice by uniting care, connection, empathy, and clinical excellence. Starting as a small assessment service, Evolve has grown into an international, award-winning psychology practice operating across the UK, Ireland, and beyond.

Our expertise spans:

  • NHS-funded neurodevelopmental assessments (online or in-person)
  • Private neurodevelopmental assessments (online or in-person)
  • SpLD assessments (dyslexia, dyscalculia)
  • Intellectual disability assessments

Who We Are

Clinician-founded and clinician-led, our team of over 100 experts is registered with HCPC, NMC, GMC, and Social Work England, or affiliated with the British Psychological Society. Dedicated to evidence-based care, we prioritise:

  • Expert leadership by Dr Laura Powling, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with 20+ years of experience.
  • NHS recognition for high-quality multidisciplinary assessments.
  • Gold-standard compliance with NICE, BPS, and other national/international standards.
  • Ongoing training, CPD, dedicated supervision, and developing teams’ digital capabilities.
  • A person-centred approach—diagnoses matter, but unifying support for the whole person through collaborative MDT work is central to our mission.

We foster a values-driven culture shaped by compassion, clarity, and integrity, ensuring exceptional service and sustainable growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
