Clinical Quality Manager

Location: Colten House, Ringwood, BH24 3FE Hours: 40 per week (plus on-call requirements) Salary: £76,500 per annum (inclusive of car allowance) + bonus

About the Role

Are you looking for that next step to champion clinical and quality excellence? If so, this Critical role is for you. You’ll be part of our assurance team of five, driving forward clinical excellence and maintaining high-quality standards in our care homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Based in our Head Office in Ringwood, you’ll support and monitor a cluster of approx. 7 homes, working closely with Clinical Leads to promote clinical and quality excellence.
  • Make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents by ensuring they receive fulfilled, high-quality care.
  • Conduct regular home visits to support clinical needs and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
  • Act as the clinical go-to person for Clinical Leads and Nursing teams, utilising your expertise to guide practice and enhance care standards.
  • Ensure consistent clinical excellence by shaping Clinical Governance and reducing clinical risk.
  • Lead Clinical Lead update days and take part in policy reviews and developments.
  • Role-model outstanding clinical leadership, supporting recruitment and retention of nurses while delivering clinical training and development for Clinical Leads and Senior Nurses.
  • Share responsibility for Student Nurse and Preceptee development.
  • Mentor and challenge team members to improve weaker practice areas and expand best practice.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a senior leader and Registered Nurse with:

Essential Requirements

  • A proven track record in clinical quality leadership, successfully operating across multiple care sites.
  • Previous experience in risk management and clinical governance to operate effectively at a strategic level.
  • Ability to collect, analyse, and act on data, prioritising homes requiring additional support.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a professional, approachable, and confident demeanour.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with care home teams, inspiring confidence through clinical expertise.
  • Flexibility and the capability to drive regional initiatives with on-call responsibilities.
