Health Technology Assessment, Value & Evidence Manager - Migraine
DURATION: 23-month contract
End Date: 23/07/2028
LOCATION: Walton Oaks, Tadworth, Surrey
ONSITE REQUIREMENTS: Attendance at the Walton Oaks site and occasional team meetings in London, as required
ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Via PAYE or Umbrella
HOURLY RATE: Up to £33.78 per hour PAYE or £37.86 per hour Umbrella
LEGAL RIGHT TO WORK: Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK. Sponsorship cannot be provided for this role.

Job Overview
The Health Technology Assessment, Value & Evidence Manager will provide both scientific and operational support to the Global HV&E migraine team. Reporting to an HV&E Director, you will support the delivery of real-world evidence and health economics and outcomes research studies, while coordinating project budgets, contracts, publications, documentation and vendor activity.
The role requires a strong understanding of HEOR and observational research, combined with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple activities against demanding timelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage real-world evidence studies in migraine under the guidance of HV&E Directors and the Team Lead.
- Contribute to study design and analysis in collaboration with internal and external subject matter experts.
- Work with internal specialists and Key Opinion Leaders to interpret study findings.
- Support the development of study protocols and complete quality-control reviews.
- Maintain study documentation within internal systems and relevant public registries, including GDMS and the EU PAS Register.
- Develop publication plans and oversee manuscripts with external medical writing support.
- Manage the publication process, including scientific review, tracking and journal submissions.
- Coordinate calls and activities with vendors, internal stakeholders and external experts.
- Maintain project, study and budget trackers, ensuring information remains accurate and current.
- Liaise with project managers and budget leads to monitor expenditure and project status.
- Track vendor and Key Opinion Leader invoices and follow up on outstanding submissions.
- Coordinate contracting processes for vendors, Key Opinion Leaders and non-healthcare professional consultants.
- Initiate and monitor relevant compliance processes for external engagements.
- Support ad hoc information requests, publication identification and informal literature searches.
- Quality-check materials produced by external vendors where required.

Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology or a closely related discipline.
- Master’s degree or PhD in health services research, health policy, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, health economics or an equivalent subject.
- At least two years’ experience within a research environment, such as the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy or academia.
- Practical experience using health economics and outcomes research methodologies.
- Understanding of observational study designs and associated analytical approaches.
- Knowledge of health services research methods, including health economics, patient-reported outcomes, study design, literature reviews, database analysis, epidemiology and statistics.
- Understanding of external trends affecting healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry across major international markets.
- Experience managing research projects, timelines, stakeholders and deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to quality-check scientific and operational documentation.
- Self-directed approach and the ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation, stakeholder and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work during UK business hours and attend relevant site or London-based meetings when required.

Nice to Have
- At least one year’s relevant HEOR experience within a pharmaceutical company or consultancy.
- Previous involvement in real-world evidence studies.
- Experience developing manuscripts and managing journal submissions.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical study documentation, contracting, compliance or publication-tracking systems.
- Previous experience working with external vendors and Key Opinion Leaders.
- Knowledge of migraine or another related therapeutic area.
