Clinical Research Associate II

Clinical Research Associate II – Fully Home-Based (UK/Northern Ireland)

Precision for Medicine is not your typical CRO. We prioritise our culture and have extremely high CRA retention rates compared to industry averages—our team thrives here.

CRAs join us, love their jobs, and stay because of our supportive culture and strong work/life balance. Expect:

  • A lower than average number of protocols, enabling you to become a study expert.
  • Reasonable travel demands (domestic, occasional international for senior roles).
  • Your voice matters—your input will shape outcomes in a close-knit environment.

We’re hiring a Clinical Research Associate II—fully home-based with a UK/NI location requirement.

About You

You bring:

  • Calmness and responsiveness under pressure—things go wrong, but you solve them.
  • Hyper-preparedness—always two steps ahead of meetings, visits, or updates.
  • Creative problem-solving—turning challenges into solutions efficiently.
  • A sharp eye for detail—ensuring accuracy in protocols, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proactive risk assessment—anticipating study risks and proposing mitigation.
  • Ownership mentality—taking responsibility for work quality and outcomes.
  • Conflict resolution skills—using tried-and-tested strategies for tough conversations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Research Associate II, you will:

  • Monitor and track clinical studies at investigative sites, ensuring compliance with:
    • Protocol standards
    • SOPs
    • ICH-GCP
    • Applicable regulations and guidelines
  • Own study progress from setup to completion, including:
    • Investigator identification and engagement
    • Regulatory submission support (e.g., pre-submission documents)
    • Conducting pre-study and initiation visits
    • Coordinating study activities across teams
  • Ensure data integrity—documentation, reporting, and dissemination meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (medical, data, operations) to optimise trial execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
