Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure all clinical trials adhere strictly to the Protocol and recruit eligible participants.
  • Follow the study delegation logs, allocating tasks appropriately.
  • Report any Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) or Adverse Events (AEs) within the prescribed timeframes.
  • Prioritise participant wellbeing, organising referrals to third parties or the participant’s general practitioner as needed.
  • Maintain legible, concise, and accurate study documentation—confirmed with signed-off records and resolved queries within agreed deadlines.
  • Operate within the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Contractual Obligations (COPs).
  • Active participation in the on-call rota for Panthera Research Physicians is mandatory.
  • Occasional travel to alternative Panthera sites or flexible working hours may be required.

Leadership & Quality Assurance

  • Hold oversight of the study at site.
  • Ensure comprehensive staff training, completing delegatory logs.
  • Maintain study documentation quality at all times.
  • Schedule regular meetings with the Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and address all feedback related to site performance.
  • Participate in internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.

Continuous Improvement

  • Undergo a competency assessment every 3 months.
  • Maintain an up-to-date training portfolio, with required training signed off promptly.
