$65,124.80 – $108,555.20 (annual)

About the Role
The Clinical Research Revenue Cycle Coordinator II supports research billing and invoicing compliance activities within the Clinical Trials Office. This role requires expertise in clinical trial revenue cycles, regulatory compliance, and system management.
Responsibilities
- Performs duties in support of research billing and invoicing compliance within the Clinical Trials Office
- Utilises OnCore CTMS, Cerner Revenue Cycle, and Power Trials to ensure an efficient clinical trial revenue cycle
- Facilitates audits of ongoing clinical trials to verify accuracy and compliance with policies, regulations, and laws
- Prepares findings reports, corrective action plans, and preventive action plans
- Collaborates with Revenue Cycle teams to resolve clinical research billing errors
- Participates in data quality assurance within OnCore CTMS and Cerner Revenue Cycle/Power Trials systems
- Analyses billing errors to identify root causes and implements work plans for corrections
- Develops and delivers training and education on compliance, patient care billing, and invoicing processes
- Maintains communication with clinical research staff (e.g., Principal Investigators, Research Nurses, Research Coordinators, Pharmacists, Laboratory Personnel)
- Provides cross-training on OnCore CTMS, including user assistance and basic training
- Ensures timely and accurate clinical trial invoicing adhering to contract terms
- Builds and maintains financial consoles in OnCore CTMS (e.g., protocol amendments, charge capture for research-related patient care and ancillary services)
- Ensures accurate capture of patient care services (including investigational pharmacy, lab services) on sponsor invoices
- Applies invoice management for active clinical trials consistent with detailed contracts
- Acts as a resource for designing internal policies, procedures, and job aides related to clinical research billing compliance
- Participates in training and education related to patient care billing and invoicing for the CTO, GCAF, and Research Faculty

Education & Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare, administration, or research-related field (required)
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in a healthcare, administration, or research-related field
Minimum Work Experience
- 3 years of experience working in a clinical research environment, such as:
- A stand-alone research site
- A research department
- A centralized research office
- An Institutional Review Board (IRB)
Required Skills & Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in clinical trials regulatory compliance, especially related to billing and invoicing
- Exceptional time management skills to handle demanding workloads
