At JAAQ

We're revolutionizing mental health support through technology. We've built an innovative mental health tech company centered around our dynamic video content platform - but that's just the beginning. Our mission goes beyond delivering content; we're actively reshaping how society approaches mental wellbeing, breaking down stigmas, and creating genuine human connections through technology. As pioneers in this space, we combine clinical excellence with engaging digital experiences to meet people where they are on their health journey.

JAAQ is building a library of evidence-based mental health resources and is committed to creating content that combines clinical accuracy with engagement and accessibility. Our goal extends beyond content delivery—we aim to help people develop sustainable positive changes in their mental health through technology-enabled learning and support, ultimately shifting societal perceptions of mental health care.

At JAAQ, we believe in expanding access to mental health resources and creating innovative pathways to care through technology.

The Role

We are looking for a Clinical Safety Officer & Safety Lead to own clinical product safety across JAAQ's platform and AI-powered products. You will be the named CSO, embedded with the product and engineering team, responsible for ensuring that what we build is safe, compliant, and clinically sound.

This means owning the hazard log and clinical risk management system, monitoring AI outputs for safety, investigating adverse events, and providing the formal clinical sign-off for releases. You'll work day-to-day with engineers and product managers, not from a distance. You need to be comfortable in sprint ceremonies and technical discussions, and confident enough to challenge decisions when safety requires it.

You will report to the Chief Medical Officer and work alongside the Clinical Content Lead and Clinical Operations & Evidence Lead. Together, this team covers content quality, product safety, governance, and evidence—you own the product safety piece.

The Impact You Will Have

You will be a key member of the clinical team at JAAQ, working across teams to build and maintain our clinical safety infrastructure. Your work will involve:

Clinical Safety (DCB0129)

  • Serving as JAAQ's named Clinical Safety Officer under DCB0129, owning the Clinical Risk Management System, Hazard Log, and Clinical Safety Case Report
  • Maintaining and updating the clinical risk management file throughout the product lifecycle
  • Providing formal clinical safety sign-off for product releases and significant updates
  • Leading clinical risk assessments for new features, integrations, and product changes
  • Managing adverse event logging, investigation, and reporting
  • Designing and maintaining incident response and crisis management protocols

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
