Clinical Application Specialist
Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to join a leading global medtech company based in the Netherlands. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong clinical background who is motivated to transition into or expand within a commercial role.
The position offers the chance to work within a dynamic environment where clinical expertise is valued, and your technical knowledge will be key to supporting customer success.
This role suits individuals passionate about healthcare technology who want to develop their commercial skills. The opportunity allows you to leverage ICU or high-acuity hospital experience in a customer-facing position, helping to drive sales and promote innovative medical devices.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Your role as a Clinical Application Specialist will include:
- Serving as a clinical expert and trusted advisor, helping hospitals implement medical devices.
- Providing technical training, demonstrations, and support to medical personnel (primarily nurses).
- Engaging with end-users to gather feedback and ensuring proper product use for trial and adoption.
- Building relationships with clinical and procurement teams to support tenders and sales efforts.
- Maintaining up-to-date clinical and technical knowledge to assist with customer onboarding and troubleshooting.

Role Requirements
To succeed as a Clinical Application Specialist, we seek:
- A degree in a clinical field (e.g., Nursing, Paramedic, or Healthcare Science).
- Proven ICU or high-acuity experience, including familiarity with infusion pumps and device testing.
- Interest or experience transitioning into a commercial role (e.g., product specialist), with willingness to develop sales skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, with strong communication skills for clinical and customer-facing interaction.
