Internal Vacancy – 12 Month Leadership Secondment Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on hospital operations, ensuring:
- Optimal bed capacity and efficient patient flow across the Trust
- Achievement of performance standards, including:
- Emergency and elective admission access targets
- Single-sex accommodation compliance
- Infection control adherence
- Assisting in safe staffing level management
- Out-of-hours oversight of the hospital site (with support from senior managers and the Trust’s executive on-call team)
- Direct oversight of the four-hour emergency access waiting times in coordination with the Clinical Site Management Team
Additionally, as part of site management, you will:
- Ensure effective operational direction, with responsibility for:
- Clinical and non-clinical workflow
- Bed usage dynamics and strategic planning
- Reporting and goal achievement across the Emergency Department
